About the Festival:
Over 37 acts are scheduled to perform at the Orion Music + More Festival created by Metallica. Bands from a wide variety of genres, ranging from thrash and black metal to indie and experimental rock are slated to perform. Metallica will be headlining the festival on both days and will perform two of their most critically acclaimed albums in their entirety: their 1991 eponymous fifth release (better known as The Black Album) one night and 1984′s Ride the Lightningthe other. In addition to the music, the Orion Music + More festival includes rock ‘n roll memorabilia on display and for sale from vinyl and collectibles to gig posters and gear, a custom car and motorcycle show, a surf contest (yep, a surf contest), and live skateboarding on the Motorbreath Mini Ramp from your favorite skaters on the legendary VANS Pro Skate team.
